I bought this t-shirt, as well as another one several months ago, for two reasons. To hopefully create greater awareness of epilepsy and the effect it has on a persons life, that there is more to epilepsy besides the epileptic seizure, and to honour my youngest daughter, Natasha, who is afflicted by epilepsy but refuses to let it control her life.
Natasha has graduated, with honours, from Sydney University, is employed by the chief scientific body in Australia, the world renowned CSIRO and has gotten on with her life despite the problems caused by her condition. She has raised money for your organisation by walking 144 kilometres, on a gymnasium walking machine. The distance was a reference to the distance from home she was when she had her first epileptic episode.
She is well regarded in her community and by her employer. And her father is incredibly proud of her.

The color is bright and gets the message across and I think it gets people thinking because I haven’t heard a negative remark about me wearing it yet and I wear it everywhere

I wear it to work so people can understand what I have to go through when I have attacks as they don’t understand things
